So the last few days have been pretty up and down for me. Lets start with yesterday shall we.

After months of longing and waiting, I finally got a Nintendo Wii yesterday, along with Zelda:Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4 and Resient Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. All great games. I was happy I could have flown.

Fast forward to this morning. Its not even 7 am and I'm getting ready to go to work, coming downstairs after and a kitten dashes under my foot. I am only two steps from the bottom, and when I try and avoid the kitten, I fall those last two steps. All seemed intact, apart from a lightly twisted left ankle, a sore right hand/wrist and one squashed and broken cat food bowl that had been lurking down there. But the hand got worse, and when I got on the bus to work my work mate Peter advised me to stop on the bus a few stops longer and go to the hospital to get it checked out. So I did, and it seems I have cracked the Trapezium bone, just below my right thumb. Which is quite unusal apparantly. So now I am in plaster, just a temporary one for today in case my hand swells, and I have to keep it strapped up against my chest til tomorrow, when I will get a proper cast on it. So I cant play on my brand new Wii!!! How crap is that!!!! And I have to type one handed so this took a while to write

And now the same kitten who tripped me is trying to eat my cast.
